The East Anglian Daily Times and Ipswich Star has teamed up with BBC Radio Suffolk to promote the Suffolk Clean Sweep. This will be a weekend of litter picking on the 12th and 13th June ahead of Suffolk Day 21st June. The Suffolk Clean Sweep initiative coincides with the end of the Great British Spring Clean by Keep Britain Tidy, providing plenty of ways for people to get involved with litter picking in their local area.
There are some amazing individuals and groups of #StowmarketSuperheroes who regularly litter pick around Stowmarket, and along with Cedars Park Community Centre we are now hosting litter pick hubs for our lovely volunteers to borrow equipment from.
Will you be taking part in the Suffolk Clean Sweep? Let us know your heroic litter picking plans!
