As part of the government’s Enjoy Summer Safely campaign on Monday they launched Shop Local Week (10th-16th August). Shoppers are being encouraged to support their high street by shopping in local and independent retailers.
Stowmarket enjoys a high street full of independent businesses and a twice weekly market with local traders selling everything from bread to jewellery.
To celebrate Shop Local Week we have created a poster for local businesses to proudly display in their shop window and on their website. Take a picture of the sign in your shop and tag us on social media #ShopStowmarket.
