Stowmarket Town Council is pleased to announce the latest award from its community funding initiative, StowFund.
A grant of £891.00 has been awarded to Stowmarket Concert Band to support the purchase of new uniform.
Stowmarket Concert Band is a long-established musical organisation that has represented Stowmarket for over 60 years. The group is constitutionally committed to promoting music-making opportunities for under-25s in the town, supporting young musicians through its work.
This commitment is underpinned by a thriving main band, which has built a strong reputation for musical excellence both locally and further afield. The band also plays an active role in supporting a range of community events across Stowmarket.
The StowFund programme continues to support local organisations in delivering projects that benefit the community and strengthen local engagement.
