We have received spectacular news from Santa!
He didn’t want Stowmarket to miss out on an exciting Christmas due to the impact of Coronavirus so he’s sending us one of his elves to spread the Christmas magic!
Stowie the Elf is a little character with a big personality, he loves to play hide-and-seek and get up to mischief. Stowie will be with us until he is picked up by Santa on Christmas Eve.
Can you help Santa keep an eye on Stowie? If you see him around town, then:
- Take an “Elfie Selfie” with him.
- Upload the picture onto the Stowmarket Communities Facebook Page.
- Add a message letting Santa know where Stowie is and what he is doing.
- Use the hashtags #StowieSavesChristmas and #StowmarketChristmasCelebration.
Santa wants to ensure that Stowie is kept busy in the build-up to Christmas and during his festive visit, so he has asked Stowmarket Town Council to arrange an exciting schedule for him. With this in mind, if you’re a local business, school or community group and would like Stowie to help promote your Christmas event, or you would like to host him during his stay then please let us know by emailing communities@stowmarket.org.
