As Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to make headlines across the world, Stowmarket Town Council is working hard to minimise the risk to the local community and our employees.
After careful deliberation, and following government guidelines, Stowmarket Town Council have taken the decision to close Milton House reception from 4pm tonight, Tuesday 17th March 2020 and Stowmarket Community Centre from close of service on Friday 20th March 2020 until further notice.
Registrars at Milton House remain open to register births and deaths, however appointments must be made online at www.suffolk.gov.uk or by telephone 0345 607 2050.
Stowmarket Town Council will be monitoring the situation on an ongoing basis and will be in touch as soon as we are in a position to re-open.
