The Stowmarket Town Council Chamber (the John Milton Room) is a large room within Milton House (the headquarters of Stowmarket Town Council). It is regularly used to host Town Council meetings, and by the Registrars to conduct wedding ceremonies.
The operations team, headed by Michael Marriott, have completed renovations on the toilet, making it fully compliant with Equality Act requirements and ensuring that every visitor is able to confidently use the facilities.
The renovation also included the addition of a ramp to the entrance of the room, making it accessible for anyone with limited mobility.
This work is part of a number of ongoing measures to improve and enhance the accessibility of all Stowmarket Town Council buildings.
