Stowmarket Town Council is proud to serve a population of approximately 23,000 people who live in Stowmarket in the heart of Suffolk. The Town Council is a democratically elected body comprising 16 Town Councillors supported by a team of staff. The most recent local council elections were held in May 2023. Its main offices are located at Milton House, Milton Road South, near the centre of Stowmarket although its owns various land and property across the town, most notably its customer interfaces at Stowmarket Community Centre and the Regal.
