Disabled parking in Stowmarket
There are a number of car parks in Stowmarket which are the responsibility of Mid Suffolk District Council. There is no charge for blue badge holders for the first three hours of parking, provided a valid blue badge is on display. The details of the spaces can be found below.
Iliffe Way/Meadow Centre
There are 16 spaces for blue badge holders closest to the ramp leading down to Asda.
Milton Road South
There are spaces for blue badge holders.
Bury Street
There are designated parking spaces for blue badge holders.
Ipswich Street
The three spaces for blue badge holders are near the entrance to the car park.
On Street Parking
There are two spaces in Crowe Street. In Ipswich Street, there is a bay outside the Royal Mail Delivery Office for three blue badge holders. There is one space in Ipswich Street opposite the Post Office. There are spaces in Marriott’s Walk. Parking is available along Bury Street at various locations.
Accessible Toilets
Available at the Ipswich car park, on the side of the Regal Theatre, in the Meadow Centre, opposite Asda and
at the Recreation Ground on the side of the Community Cafe.
