Stowmarket Town Council is delighted to announce that two grants have recently been awarded to local organisations Wild Heritage Suffolk & Food Museum through the Stowmarket Environment Fund.

The fund has awarded £417 towards the purchase and installation of three IBC tanks, helping Wild Heritage Suffolk make better use of winter rainfall and capture increasingly valuable summer rainwater.

A further £321 has been awarded towards the purchase of a mini digger hydraulic excavator thumb, which will assist with the restoration of the grazed floodplain at the Food Museum grounds.

The Stowmarket Environment Fund supports projects that benefit the local environment and contribute to a greener, more sustainable Stowmarket.

Stowmarket Town Council offers a range of grant funding opportunities for local community groups and organisations, supporting projects and initiatives that directly benefit Stowmarket residents.
