In recent years, local authority budgets have come under significant pressure, particularly in providing adult social care, children’s services, and maintaining an ever-expanding network of roads and pavements. As a result, the routine maintenance of public spaces has often suffered. In response, Stowmarket Town Council has taken a lead in helping to fill some of these gaps, investing in the Town Ranger service to support a cleaner, greener town.
