The countdown to Stowmarket’s much-loved Christmas Fayre is officially on! Taking place across various locations in the town, this year’s event returns on Sunday 29th November, from 10am to 4pm, promising a day full of festive fun for all ages.

Thousands of visitors are expected to attend one of Suffolk’s biggest free Christmas Fayres, with more than 80 traders filling the town centre with gifts, crafts and seasonal treats to kick off the festive season in style.

Visitors can browse a wide range of stalls offering everything from handmade crafts and jewellery to festive decorations, local produce and unique gifts. Shopping will extend beyond the high street, with additional stalls at partner venues across the town.

After browsing the stalls, visitors can enjoy a tempting selection of street food and seasonal refreshments, with plenty of opportunities to grab a bite to eat or a warming festive drink. Stowmarket’s cafés and independent businesses will also be part of the day, making it the perfect time to explore the town and support local traders.

There will be plenty to keep families entertained, too, with a Ferris wheel, an ice-skating rink and a variety of festive activities adding to the celebrations. Visitors can also explore the programme of entertainment and activities taking place at venues across Stowmarket, including The Mix, The Food Museum, The John Peel Centre, Red Gables and The Regal.

Visitors can also make the most of the town’s wider festive celebrations, including the Christmas Tree Festival at St Peter’s and St Mary’s Church, where attendees can admire beautifully decorated trees created by local organisations.

The Stowmarket Christmas Fayre is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the start of the festive season, support local businesses and enjoy everything the town has to offer.

A huge thank you to Bucks Property Agents, Morar Living, Gipping Press Ltd, Squab Storage – Stowmarket and CFB IT Solutions who’s generous sponsorship helps us to keep bringing these events to the town each year.

Save the date for Sunday 29th November, 10am–4pm, and keep your eyes peeled for further announcements as more details about this year’s stalls, entertainment and activities are revealed.
