Stowmarket Town Council is pleased to announce that we have awarded SLM Community Leisure Charitable Trust, the sum of £165.08 through StowFund. This will help to support after school multi-sports clubs for children eligible for free school meals.
StowFund is an ongoing grant scheme designed to help local organisations deliver projects and activities that contribute to the town’s development and wellbeing. Funding of up to £1,000 is available for new projects, with up to £500 available for existing activities, ongoing projects and equipment purchases.
The scheme supports a range of objectives, including improving residents’ health and wellbeing, encouraging volunteering, meeting identified community needs and promoting civic pride across Stowmarket.
