Stowmarket Town Council is pleased to announce the latest success from its community funding initiative, StowFund.

A grant of £1,000 has been awarded to Stowmarket Parish Church to support its organ appeal. The funding will contribute towards essential repairs, partial replacements, and a deep clean of the instrument’s internal components. Built in 1891, the organ features approximately 1,600 pipes and was originally acquired from Emmanuel Church in Paddington, London.

The organ plays a vital role in the community, providing music for funerals, weddings, baptisms, and other significant occasions.

Stowmarket Town Council is proud to support local initiatives that help preserve important community assets and enrich the lives of residents.
