Councillor Kieren LaThangue-Clayton

I have lived in Stowmarket all my life, originally living on Melford Road and moving to Lavenham Way 18 years ago. I am privileged and delighted to have been elected to Stowmarket Town Council in May 2023. I currently work as a Regulatory Compliance Manager for a Cosmetics Brand, and primarily work from home.

I stood for Council because I care about Stowmarket and want to see the town grow and be a great place to live for everyone. Stowmarket has always been a great community and I want to see that sense of community continue by actively engaging with residents to ensure their views and opinions are at the heart of the Council’s work.

I have a particular interest in protecting the Environment, Planning and implementing new Innovations that will continue Stowmarket being seen as great place to live. I will use my interests to ensure that policies that are put in place, have an environmentally conscience approach, reflect residents’ views, and are financially sustainable for the benefit of current and future generations.
