Team Up to Clean Up
As part of Keep Stowmarket Tidy Week, Team Up to Clean Up is a community action day that brings people together to make a real difference in our town.
The event begins at the Recreation Ground, where volunteers are provided with litter pickers, PPE, and suggested routes to tackle litter across key areas of Stowmarket. Whether you’re a regular participant or joining for the first time, you’ll be part of a friendly and welcoming group.
After the clean-up, participants return to the Recreation Ground to enjoy complimentary refreshments at the Café on the Rec. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with others, share stories from the day, and celebrate your efforts to keep Stowmarket looking its best.
This event isn’t just about tidying up—it’s about building community spirit, forming new friendships, and taking pride in our town. Every piece of litter picked up makes a difference, contributing to a cleaner, greener Stowmarket for everyone to enjoy.
To make the day even more fun, we encourage children to come in fancy dress! Whether they dress as superheroes, fairies, or something creative, it’s a great way to add extra joy to the event while teaching the importance of caring for our environment from a young age.
